Cafe Barriers

Café barriers are the perfect solution to creating an outdoor living area for your restaurant, café, bar or club so that you can easily make a specified area for drinking, eating or even smoking.

All of our café barriers are easily personalised to promote your brand and business to potential customers. They are also a very cost-effective way of going about all of this, instead of having to pay for fixed signage, permeant posts and fences and so on, you can purchase our system which can easily be moved about as you need on each day, or even if you wanted to promote a new type of brand then all you have to do is get some new fabric made up and then you’re good to go with your existing barrier system.

All of our café banners are engineered from high-quality stainless steel which has a nice premium finish and feel to it which can add quality to any location you might want to use it in, and it looks good in all types of weather. We offer 3 types of fabric to choose from.

The most common is PVC, as this can be easily digitally printed, and wiped down to keep clean. Secondly is our PVC mesh, which again can be easily digitally printed to promote your business or brand, and lastly, we offer our luxury premium marine canvas, which can be colour matched to your awning fabric perfectly.

Retractable Side Blinds / Privacy Screen

Where Café barriers are designed for our commercial customers, we also supply a product that is more suited for the domestic range, the Weinor Paravento side blind and to some a privacy screen.

Sometimes called a side awning or wind block/breaker, the stylish Paravento protects against the wind, low lying blinding sun and unwanted eyes from next door looking into your garden. As s cost-effective solution, the sleek robust cassette can be installed practically anywhere.

The Paravento created attractive highlights in combination with the modern designs within the Weinor fabric range so that your side blind can complement your folding arm awning perfectly.

We can even offer specially designed fabrics that provide privacy protection while still allowing an outside view during the day. Due to all of this, we would say the Paravento is a flexible and elegant alternative to fixed options such all a wall, hedge or fences.

Patio Heaters

As we, unfortunately, live in a country that is cold, wet and windy more often than it’s nice then sometimes you need a little bit extra warmth to survive outside. Whether it putting on a nice thick down feather jacket or just an extra jumper, I’m sure all of you know that we love being warm and cosy.

That’s where our range of outdoor electric patio heaters come in to play. We have a wide range of electric patio heaters that have been designed to have the maximum heat output but also being energy efficient at the same time. Prices start from £200 per heater supplied and fitted for an entry-level hardwired heater, but we can offer so much more than that with our state of the art Bluetooth controlled heaters, you can control up to 10 heaters from your mobile phone.

Our heaters can be mounted almost anywhere, they are easy to retrofit into existing patio areas, or we offer specialised heaters than have been designed to match your awning system, and can even control your awning, heater and lighting package all off the same remote.

You’re not only saving yourself money when you choose one of our infrared heaters but compared to standard heaters, ours heat up instantly. Our heaters on average cost around £0.25p per hour to run, so you aren’t going to feel it massively on your wallet if you decide to keep it on for a couple of hours while the family are outside enjoying the last

BBQ of the year! In comparison to conventional electrical quartz heaters, our infrared heating technology only warms up the skin and not the air in between, meaning less wasted energy.

Patio Lighting

Adding some lighting creates that special touch to any patio whether it be domestic or commercial. The warm glow creates an attractive atmosphere and also allows your outdoor space to be used for much longer.

Based on modern technology, innovative LEDs can save you a great deal of energy. Not only are they environmentally friendly, but also long-lasting and cost-saving.

Anyone who opts to add the LED lighting package to their new awning is doing everything right. Our light bars are available with elegant warm white lighting and can be dimmed using either a wall switch, your awning remote control or even your mobile phone. Just 1 LED spotlight produces as much light as a 20W halogen spotlight, but it uses 85% less energy.

Our 2.6W LED spotlight produces 187 lumens of light, with up to 50,000 hours of use. Along with light bars and integrated lights in certain awning systems, we are happy to now offer the LED RGB lighting strip from Weinor.

The new LED strip from Weinor provides coloured lighting and great light effects for a unique mood on your patio. Whether they’re fitted to the house wall, a Weinor product or other patio constructions, the LED RGB Strip can be installed very quickly, easily and even retrofitted anywhere protected from the weather.

Your light is distributed evenly resulting in an incomparable atmosphere. The lighting can be conveniently controlled and dimmed using the Weinor hand remote that you got with your awning.

Traditional Signwriting

Ever since awnings and canopies started becoming big in Scotland we have been at the forefront of the marketing side of things. Because of this, we have the most experienced signwriter in Scotland when it comes to applying branding to an awning or canopy.

With over 40+ years working with Sandy, we have created some beautiful pieces of art that you wouldn’t be able to tell had been hand-painted. We hand paint every single job that comes into us using traditional signwriting techniques to give only the best finish for our customers.

It’s unfortunate that most other companies have started moving away from signwriters and opt for a digitally printed finish, but in our expert opinion, we have found that digital printing just doesn’t stand the test of time when it comes to the great Scottish weather, so we stick with what we know works.

Because we only use traditional methods we can guarantee that all of our jobs are truly bespoke, and as a result, we can make any design at any sizes. As we carry out this service in-house, we can work closely with you and your designer to make sure we reach the final image that you want, as well as making sure the proportions are exactly right to the millimetre.

As you can see from our images, we work with some of the biggest named brands in the world, and with that, it means that each logo has to have the exact right dimensions, proportion and shade of colour to match in with their design guidelines, so our signwriter knows what’s expected and won’t settle for less than perfect.

Adding signwriting to your awning is the perfect way of adding extra advertisement to the front of your property. Whether it’s a massive bespoke design that covers the whole size of the main cover, to add your website, phone number or business services to your valance so that you’re getting a cost-effective advertisement visable 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We always recommend adding branding to your fabric valance because of this, if it’s a bit windy and your awning isn’t out – your valance will be flapping in the wind which in turn catches people’s eyes to the place that you’re showing your details, which means your property will be getting noticed even when your store is closed through the night, or when your awning is closed in bad weather.
