Anti- Glare & Heat Reduction Window Film

One of the most common enquiries we get for window film is to help combat glare. We all know how annoying it is when you’re trying to watch the TV at home, or working a long day at the office on a sunny day and you aren’t able to see your screen and end up shutting the blinds or curtains and making the room way too dark when it’s nice and sunny outside!

Then when you’re staring at a screen and its dark, this will lead to headaches, eye strain and even sickness. This is where our Anti-glare window film comes into play. By installing one of the films from our extensive range it will reduce the amount of that annoying glare by up to 96%, while at the same time allowing you to still enjoy your view out of the window and letting in the much needed natural light to help brighten up your day and give you a much better working environment.

Our Anti-glare films will also block up to 99% of the sun’s harmful UV rays, which will allow you to put out stock in your window display without the risk of fading, protect your household furnishings like that brand new sofa, but most importantly it will also protect those people with sensitive skin.

Low Mirror Solar Control Window Film

We also have a specialist range of solar control window films that can make a massive difference to your everyday life by reducing the glare and & heat that comes through your glass on a sunny day, but without the “mirror” effect that most standard solar films offer.

Low mirror films are typically used in a project where the client, or building control warrant states that the building can’t be darker or too reflective and a more neutral effect is required. Some buildings may block the use of window film altogether, but they aren’t aware that our low mirror film range exists that doesn’t have as big of a visual impact as a mirrored type film.

Although they are still metalized to some extent, you are left with a much more natural grey or bronze tint to both the exterior and interior. Depending on access requirements to the building, our films come in both interior and coated exterior versions so that we can install the film either internally or externally.

Our range of internal and external polycarbonate solar control films are specially manufactured to help combat the heat, glare & UV issues within the range of a polycarbonate window or roof light. Typical solar control films will bubble up when it dries out due to the nature of the adhesive used as it is more suited to glass.

The internal product has a translucent finish without a high mirror effect so that you can still enjoy the great view out of your conservatory without having to add blinds or build an extra roof within your conservatory. The external product will be mirrored and gives you the maximum heat and glare reduction possible and also some privacy.
