THE WEDGE CANOPY 

The wedge canopy is the canopy of choice with architects and designers due to its crisp, minimalist design. Because of its simple architectural design, it is the perfect choice for your modern commercial property. Even though it is known for use mostly in the commercial market, its sleek finish has helped it become more popular in the residential market in recent years.

The frame that we use on this is very similar in design to the Dutch canopy in that we only the highest quality aluminium frame that have been anodised, but the Wedge canopy is only available in the fixed option so it isn’t ideal for an area you require a large horizontal projection, we recommend not going over 1000mm out from your building.

For a minimalist canopy it is also known by a few other names, fixed triangle or French canopy are just a few. We use two separate fabric rangers on all of our canopies, with acrylic being the most popular by far with over 300 different colours and shapes to choose from, to the hard-wearing PVC option, which give you a 100% waterproof option and is wiped down for easy maintenance.

We take the approach of knowing that every single project is different and think that the Wedge canopy is the most versatile option of the canopy. The frame shape is extremely strong and flexible, which is why it can be left out all year without worrying about wind damage.

It can be installed in a small space, like a window recess, or we can bend the metal so that it can be constructed around the corner of your building. It is available with the standard valance that comes with all of our canopies, but we can also add a fixed sign box to the bottom to enhance the available area you can use for adding branding.

For example, you could add your canopy logo on the large sloped area and then at the bottom add your company name, phone number, website etc. so much so that you could have this as your main company sign.

They also protect anything that you have displayed in your window from the sun’s harmful UV rays so that you won’t lose any value of your sales products due to colour fading, or to protecting your brand new sofa in your living room from colour fading.

By pairing a Canopy with our traditional signwriter we can add your logo, phone number, website etc. to our massive range of high-end fabrics to give your shop or home a show-stopping finish.

As we have been in the industry for so long we know that no fabric or canopy will last forever no matter how well you look after it. That is why we offer a full refurbishment service to bring your old canopy back to life. We can do this by uplifting your current canopy, bringing it back to our factory and stripping off & recycling the old fabric.

Once it’s down to the frame we then give it a deep clean and replace any old worn or batter parts. After the frame has been repaired, we can add a new lease of life by fitting a new cover to your frame and adding any new branding you may want. After this, we will come back out to site and re-install your canopy and you wouldn’t even be able to tell it wasn’t a brand new canopy!

HIGH-QUALITY AWNINGS

All of the metal components are made with high-grade drop-forged steel to provide the highest durability in strong winds.

They are finished with a custom powder-coated finish, with 56 colours included as standard, and any other colour is available at an extra cost if you have to match your brand colours exactly.

All of our awning fabrics are specially treated to ensure they are waterproof, rot-proof, UV-resistant and resistant to stains.

ELECTRIC AWNINGS

All of our awnings come with the option of manual crank gear or electrically motorised operation. We know that each person’s needs and budget are different and not everyone needs a full electrically operated awning, so both of the options are finished with top of the range products to ensure ease of use.

MANUAL AWNINGS

Our manually operated awnings are all supplied with a winding pole of the correct length so that it is quick and easy to operate the awning in the event of inclement weather rolling in. And even on a windy day, you can just wind the awning out halfway and then stop so that it gives it some extra strength against the wind.

Our electric awnings can be operated with either the standard hand remote, can be wired up to a mains wall switch in places where your staff may be likely to constantly loose a remote or if you want it can even be operated through an app on your mobile device if you choose to add on the relevant receivers.

The added bonus of going for electric is that you can then in turn add extras like our energy saving infra-red heaters, so that you can continue to entertain right long into the night and continue to use your space in winter, to our energy-efficient LED lights which can be supplied in a light bar to match your awning, or even integrated into the awning’s cassette to give you a sleek high-class finish.

WIND & SUN PROTECTION

We also supply a range of wind, sun and rain sensors that give you peace of mind when spending so much on your awning. It’s easy to forget that your awning is out when you’re serving hundreds of customers and a storm rolls in, but with a sensor, your awning will retract itself closed which it senses weather that will damage it, and then will open itself back up when the weather has calmed down.
