LUSS SEAFOOD BAR

AWNING & RETRACTABLE ROOF SYSTEM

Back in early 2016, we were contacted by a representative of Luss Estates Company to see if we could help them out with covering an outside seating area of their new Seafood Bar that was still under construction.

Full Cassette Awning

We attended the site and discussed the available options. After a bit of planning, we agreed on supplying a Weinor I2000 full cassette awning that would cover the full width and projection required.

We supplied and installed the awning for the store opening and it fulfilled the purpose of creating a cover for their customers over the summer period.

PergoTex Retractable Roof

Towards the end of the year, the store closed for the winter period and we were again contacted by the customer. This time they were looking to see about the possibility of supplying a retractable roof system that would cover the full area and can be left out all year round, even in heavy rain, wind and snow.

We again attended site to meet with their architect and we suggested the Weinor PergoTex as an all year round solution. As the PergoTex is a fixed roof structure that has a retractable roof, we could also add glazing side elements to create a fully enclosed watertight area for customers to sit in all year round.

After a lot of planning and discussions, this new project went ahead early in 2017 so that it would be in place for their grand reopening in spring 2017. As we work on a lot of large projects we are used to having to meet deadlines. Everything went as planned and the customer was over the moon with their new roof system and it was used for the full of 2017 without any issues.
